Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting activities for the Leasing Division
• Perform month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Analyze lease-related transactions and accounting activity
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Utilize Carmack software and related systems to support leasing operations

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Required: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Required: Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Required: Advanced Excel skills
• Preferred: Equipment leasing, transportation, trucking, fleet, or asset-based accounting experience
• Preferred: Experience with lease accounting
• Preferred: Experience with Carmack software
• Preferred: CPA, Master's Degree, or CPA-track candidate
• Preferred: Public accounting background with desire to transition into industry
