Responsibilities
- Perform month end closing responsibilities, including preparing and posting journal entries, inventory movements, and cost allocations.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for site’s full listing of asset and liability accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Cook up annual budgets and periodic forecasts, including analysis for key variances and operational drivers.
- Provide audit support and liaison with corporate support groups as required.
- Research and apply accounting policies and principles to properly record, report, and maintain financial data.
- Support the design, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Maintain inventory standard product costs and finished goods product costing system.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
- Calculate, analyze, and explain variances in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) against budget.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Four-year Accounting degree or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, proven collaborator, prepared to take initiative and perform a variety of duties.
- Excellent computer skills (especially Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas).
- Experience working in ERP systems.

- Expert knowledge and understanding of technical accounting treatment and internal controls.

- Professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a CPA or CMA certification, SAP working experience, and experience with monitoring and maintaining internal controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Four-year Accounting degree or related field, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, proven collaborator, prepared to take initiative and perform a variety of duties, excellent computer skills (especially Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas), experience working in ERP systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: CPA or CMA certification, cost accounting background in a manufacturing environment, SAP working experience, working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, experience with monitoring and maintaining internal controls.
