Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries and supporting schedules
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as they arise
- Aid in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Develop and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of new workflows
- Support inventory analysis and cost accounting activities as responsibilities expand
- Support special projects, including future ERP implementation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to general ledger accounting and month-end close
- Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
