Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash-related entries
- Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting
- Assist with budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide insights to leadership
- Support internal and external audits and contribute to enhancing accounting processes, policies, and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of public accounting experience or 6+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- CPA designation is a plus
- Construction accounting or job costing experience preferred
