Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aids in the preparation of all aspects of event accounting including settlements, event costs, flash reports, and journal entries.
- Records all payroll entries to the general ledger including biweekly payroll and monthly accruals.
- Prepares and records daily cash receipts to the general ledger.
- Performs account analysis on both a facility and corporate level.
- Records, reviews, and reconciles cash receipts, encodes A/R cash receipts, and maintains cash journals.
- Prepares monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reviews A/P invoices in Bill.com.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Previous work experience in financial statement preparation, journal entries, and analysis of account balances.
- Knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
- Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.
- Previous experience in live event accounting is preferred.
- Previous experience with Sage and Bill.com is preferred.
