Senior Accountant

Responsibilities
- Complete monthly closings by the 2nd day of each month.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; Ensure balances are accurate and supported with proper documentation.
- Maintain the Company's system of accounts and internal controls pertaining to those accounts and financial transactions.
- Lead AP day-to-day operation: invoice processing, vendor management, payment execution, resolving inquiries, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and review of journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments).
- Maintain the business unit’s tax functions including tax administration and filings.
- Prepare state tax apportionment, monthly state sales and use taxes.
- Analyze tax letters and perform appropriate research to find a solution.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of progressive operational accounting experience, including hands-on work with journal entries, accounts payable review, and fixed asset accounting treatment.
- Tax Knowledge: Working knowledge of sales and use tax and local tax regulations; experience reviewing tax-related work is a plus.
- Systems & Data Management: Proven track record to handle large datasets and complex documents using Excel (advanced formulas preferred); Experience with Power BI is a plus; Familiarity with NetSuite ERP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Ability to tailor and deliver messages at various levels within the organization.

Qualifications
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- CPA designation is a plus.

Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Schedule
This is an onsite position (five days per week) based in Bellevue, Washington.
