About the role
The Senior Accountant will own the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily transaction booking, and cash flow support. They will drive month-end close with accuracy and on time, manage invoicing and collections, perform account reconciliations, and support KPI reporting and budget vs. actual analysis.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day accounting operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily transaction booking, and cash flow support.
- Drive month-end close with accuracy and on time: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in compliance with US GAAP.
- Manage invoicing and collections across multiple revenue streams (agency project fees, digital marketing retainers, and SaaS licensing).
- Perform account reconciliations and support deferred revenue tracking.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and bring recommendations to the Head of Finance proactively.
- Assist with annual 1099 preparation and submission.
- Take on ad-hoc projects and analysis as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, particularly around revenue recognition across multiple streams.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with Harvest, Fyle, Bill.com or similar tools is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Suite.
- Agency or SaaS industry background preferred.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Pay
Salary range: $75,000-$95,000 annually depending on experience and location.
