Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute a portfolio of high-value cost and process transformation initiatives, including:
    • Billing System Migration & Optimization (One Bill Solution)
    • Support system migration, billing accuracy validation, and revenue-to-GL alignment
    • Identify leakage, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation
  • Lease & Facilities Cost Optimization
    • Analyze lease portfolio, contract terms, and utility costs
    • Identify cost reduction opportunities (renegotiation, consolidation, termination)
  • Warehouse & Inventory Optimization
    • Drive liquidation strategies and improve inventory accounting accuracy
    • Reduce excess/obsolete inventory
  • Vendor Spend & Contract Review
    • Evaluate vendor agreements for cost efficiency and value realization
    • Identify and eliminate non-value-add contracts
  • Business Operations Reporting - Dealer Channel & Retail Store Financial Analysis
    • Analyze profitability and accounting treatment of dealer channel and retail operations
    • Improve revenue recognition, commission structures, and reporting transparency
  • Business intelligence & market research to support commercial function
  • Finance Process Automation & AI Integration (Snowflake Intelligence)
    • Implement AI-enabled tools and automation across:
      • Collections and dunning processes
      • Billing and cash application
    • Drive measurable improvements in cycle time, accuracy, and control environment
  • Own and support critical in-market finance activities, ensuring strong linkage between transformation and operations:
    • Procurement & Logistics Operations & Accounting Review purchasing flows, cost allocations, and inventory movements
    • Maintain inventory and ordering controls to minimize obsolescence risk
    • Monitor aging, support collections strategy, and ensure proper accounting
    • Analysis of credit checks, credit reporting and other dunning related KPIs
    • Accounts Payable & Vendor Accounting
      • Ensure proper expense recognition, accruals, and vendor management discipline
      • Expand utilization of COUPA functionality and drive adoption in the in-market operations team
    • Tax & Regulatory Compliance
      • Support preparation and filing of required tax returns and regulatory submissions (FCC, PSC, USAC 499A/Q, Rate cases)
      • Filing and satisfaction of annual monthly requirements ($2 Tax, Copyright Fees, Property Taxes, LGO fees, business licenses)
    • Financial Analysis & Reporting
      • Deliver actionable insights on cost drivers and operational performance
      • Develop KPI tracking for transformation initiatives (cost savings, working capital, cycle time)
      • Support management reporting and executive-level presentations
    • Process Improvement & Controls
      • Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies
      • Document processes and implement scalable, repeatable workflows
      • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, IT, and FP&A

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • CPA (or equivalent professional qualification) required
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations
    • Strong understanding of: Financial close processes, balance sheet and P&L accounting, internal controls and compliance, project management and project cycles

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience in telecommunications or high-volume operations
    • Exposure to system implementations, process transformation, or automation initiatives
    • Experience with ERP systems and billing platforms

    • Reduction in non-value-add vendor spend
    • Improvements in: Billing accuracy and revenue assurance (billing system projects)
    • Collections performance / AR aging
    • Month-end close timeline
    • Successful implementation of automation/AI initiatives (Snowflake Intelligence)
