Senior Accountant

About the role

Support the Accounting Department duties with emphasis on general ledger management, preparation of account reconciliations and journal entry postings, as well as special projects.

Responsibilities

• Cook up with business partners to comprehend the projects and transactions being documented.
• Analyze transactions and balances to make sure they are appropriately recorded in the general ledger.
• Prepare and review routine recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
• Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Aid in the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close process.
• Aid in the preparation of key internal reporting.
• Prepare required documentation for financial audits and reviews.
• Aid in the maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
• Add-on responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in corporate accounting or equivalent public accounting experience.
• CPA - Strongly preferred.
• Oracle ERP experience - Preferred.
• High degree of proficiency with standard Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
