About the role
Performance Beauty Group is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead the Ulta Beauty business for our Grande and Lash Division while also overseeing a portfolio of key department store accounts.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Ulta Beauty business for the Grande and Lash Division, serving as the primary strategic partner to Ulta.
- Drive growth across one of our fastest-growing brand portfolios, ensuring consistent execution, strong customer relationships, and continued business expansion across multiple retail channels.
- Own every aspect of the Ulta relationship, including strategic business planning, joint business reviews, assortment strategy, promotional planning, forecasting, inventory management, and cross-functional execution.
- Work directly with Ulta buyers and internal executive leadership to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and deliver exceptional business results.
- Oversee the strategy and day-to-day management of assigned department store partners, ensuring each account receives the attention needed to maximize growth while maintaining Ulta as the clear strategic priority.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing the Ulta Beauty account within the beauty or personal care industry.
- Demonstrated success owning and growing a multimillion-dollar national retail account, with responsibility for sales strategy, forecasting, assortment planning, promotions, and financial performance.
- Deep expertise with Ulta’s Supplier Portal, promotional calendar, vendor compliance requirements, item setup, and retail processes.
- Established relationships with Ulta merchants, planners, and cross-functional partners.
- Experience managing department store retail accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing initiatives, and lead complex account strategies with minimal supervision.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Finance, Operations, and Product Development to execute business initiatives.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen with experience developing forecasts, analyzing POS and inventory data, identifying trends, and presenting actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Experience with EDI, retailer backend systems, ERP platforms such as NetSuite, and reporting tools including Power BI.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be based in or able to commute to White Plains, NY Tues-Thurs. Travel is required for customer meetings, line reviews, and industry events.
