Senior Account Manager, Manufacturing

About the role

Manage and grow a portfolio of manufacturing accounts, develop trusted relationships with customers and key collaborators, identify, qualify, and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts, navigate complex sales cycles, act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer priorities and aligning solutions, forecast accurately, manage pipeline health, and consistently work toward revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for meetings with clear objectives, insights, and follow-through
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, and leadership teams
  • Balance multiple accounts and priorities while staying organized and responsive
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role
  • Experience managing and growing customer accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to work toward revenue or growth targets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort working independently and taking ownership of outcomes
  • Problem-solving skills and sound business judgment
  • A growth mindset and curiosity about continuous learning

Qualifications

  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Proficiency with standard business tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and virtual collaboration platforms
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • SaaS or software sales experience
  • Manufacturing customer experience
  • Experience working with senior-level or executive stakeholders

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Problem-solving skills and sound business judgment
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
