Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Account Manager to develop sales, profits, and relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate will focus on selling the complete EMCOR Service operations, maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy solution package.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop sales presentations and prospect for new accounts.
  • Provide clients with product services/information.
  • Maintain client pricing and payments, A/R management, client correspondence, P/L reports, quality assurance (QA) support, and industry and trade show participation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospective clients.
  • Seek out and research prospective projects through various methods.
  • Contact prospective client Chief Engineers, Account Managers, and Property Managers to introduce yourself and develop future relationships.
  • Work with the Director of Business Development, Project Managers, and Engineering Supervisors to review and improve account programs.
  • Manage through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations.
  • Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections.
  • Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration is preferred.
  • 8+ years’ sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation.
  • Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment.
  • Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.
  • Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals.
  • Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
  • Independent decision-making is required.
  • Computer skills using MS Office required.
  • Strong Excel skills are required.

Compensation

  • The compensation range is $135,000 - $166,000 per year.
