Key Responsibilities
- Possess outbound outreach and networking skills to prospect and develop new shipper relationships.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing new business.
- Oversee day-to-day management of customer accounts and freight movements.
- Cook with carriers and internal operations teams to ensure successful load execution.
- Negotiate rates with both customers and carriers to maintain strong profit margins.
- Provide exceptional customer service and proactive communication.
- Grow and retain existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and expanding freight volume.
- Maintain strong customer retention through service and communication.
- Contribute to the growth and performance of the overall team.
Qualifications
- Sales, business development, or account management experience preferred.
- Freight brokerage experience with a book of business.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
