Senior Account Executive - Fintech (NYC / MIA)
About the role
You will own the full cycle across Crossmint's fintech vertical, from sourcing and outbound through close and expansion.
The edge you bring is the ability to walk into a room with a Head of Product, a compliance officer, or a CTO and earn their trust in the first thirty minutes because you actually understand what they are building and what it will take to make it work.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline & Deals
- Own the full sales cycle across Crossmint's fintech vertical, from sourcing and outbound through close and expansion.
- Close complex, multi-stakeholder deals in regulated or technical environments.
- Identify opportunities before they surface in inbound by following the ecosystem closely.
- Discovery & Engagement
- Run discovery like a consultant: structured, hypothesis-driven, and focused on understanding the real problem before proposing anything.
- Engage engineers, product leads, and compliance teams in their own language.
- Dive into APIs, integration architecture, and technical tradeoffs to move deals forward.
- Execution & Collaboration
- Operate in a self-directed, outcome-oriented manner without needing process handed to you.
- Use modern tooling and AI to scale research, outbound, follow-ups, and deal execution without sacrificing quality.
- Act as a trusted cross-functional partner to product, engineering, marketing, and leadership.
About You
- Background & Experience
- 5+ years of experience across GTM, consulting, operations, or technical roles, with meaningful time spent in fintech, payments, or crypto infrastructure.
- You may have started in consulting, product, engineering, or ops before moving into sales or BD — that non-linear path is a genuine advantage here.
- Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in regulated or technical environments.
- Domain Knowledge
- Deep understanding of stablecoins, payment rails, wallets, and compliance constraints — not surface-level familiarity: the kind that lets you push back on a prospect's architecture assumptions and be right.
- Existing network across fintech founders, operators, or decision-makers is a strong plus.
- You follow the ecosystem closely and can identify opportunities before they surface in inbound.

- You run discovery like a consultant: structured, hypothesis-driven, and focused on understanding the real problem before proposing anything.
- Comfortable engaging engineers, product leads, and compliance teams in their own language.

Compensation
Base salary range: $100,000 - $150,000
Note: This range reflects base salary only. Final level and compensation are determined during the interview process based on experience and fit.
