Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Sales Executive to ensure clarity on products and services sold to new PacificSource groups.
  • Communicate services sold at renewal to renewing groups within your block of business.
  • Act independently and fully responsible for negotiating the renewal, thoroughly understanding the underwriting model.
  • Complete necessary documentation for implementing or renewing groups.
  • Consult with groups to inform them about PacificSource products, administrative procedures, population health strategies, and legislative and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for benefits, compliance, and plan information.
  • Communicate with groups, providers, PacificSource departments, and Sales to ensure clear communication between all constituents.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as required.
  • Share best practices with the team.
  • Identify potential issues and seek resolutions.
  • Act as a liaison to outside vendors providing services/products to our groups, including Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Wellness Programs, EAP Providers, Benefit Administration Systems, 834 Vendors, and other ancillary programs or services.
  • Work with groups and brokers to develop the strategic direction of the groups’ employee benefit plans.
  • Create and help execute a roadmap to achieve groups’ goals.
  • Present and review client reporting packages, identify trends, tools, and proposed actions to help meet client goals.
  • Offer additional PacificSource solutions that address clients' wants/needs where applicable.
  • Lead internal and external implementation and renewal meetings with support from Sales and Service Coordinator.
  • Review and coordinate the completion of internal documentation required for a new or renewing group with Sales and Service Coordinator.

Success Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or employee benefits.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current Life and Health Insurance License or to be obtained within 6 months in the role.
