Seismic Field Technician
About the role
Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Seismic Field Technician to join their team in Snellville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will travel locally to various work sites to perform on-site vibration monitoring, manage installation, test, repair and maintenance of service equipment, and conduct pre/post blast inspections of structures such as homes and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed pre and post-blast inspections of homes, commercial buildings/other structures
- Perform on-site and remote seismograph vibration monitoring at mining, quarry and construction operations
- Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Report preparation
- Provide service and customer support during field visits
Requirements
- Proficient in computer and technical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Experience using video and digital cameras
- Prior experience or degree in Business, Geology, Earth Science or related field is preferred but not required
