Responsibilities
- Counsels clients individually, in groups, and in families.
- Performs diagnostic and assessment procedures.
- Coordinates various clinical activities.
- Makes necessary reports to supervisor and/or Clinical Director.
- Attends executive committee meetings and treatment staffing.
- Serves on various committees for Quality Assurance.
- Conducts in-service training as assigned.
- Maintains contact with family members, guardians, referral sources, and authorized outside sources.
- Maintains documentation related to caseload and program function.
- Makes presentations to representatives from outside agencies.
Requirements
- Licensure: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
- Experience: Working with adolescents, teens, and adults with MH diagnoses, or MH work history preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Pleasant and professional interaction with employees, physicians, providers, patients, and families.
- Technical/Motor Skills: Organizational skills, writing, speaking clearly, answering telephones, fine dexterity, handling, and gripping.
- Age-Specific Care Criteria: Knowledge and ability to provide age-appropriate care.
- Supervision: No supervisory function.
- Technical Proficiency: Competency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a challenging and dynamic environment within a matrixed organizational structure.
Qualifications
- Proven competency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adequate knowledge and ability to navigate EHR system.
- Assume additional duties as assigned by Clinical Director or Counseling Supervisor.
