Responsibilities
- Counsels individuals, groups, and families.
- Performs diagnostic and assessment procedures.
- Coordinates various clinical activities.
- Makes necessary reports to supervisor and Clinical Director.
- Attends executive committee meetings and treatment staffing.
- Serves on committees for Quality Assurance.
- Conducts in-service training as assigned.
- Maintains contact with family members, guardians, referral sources, and authorized outside sources.
- Maintains documentation related to caseload and program function.
- Makes presentations to representatives from outside agencies.
Requirements
- Licensed as an LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
- Experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults with MH diagnoses or MH work history preferred.
- Interacts professionally with employees, physicians, providers, patients, and families.
- Knowledgeable in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adaptable in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Adequate knowledge and ability to navigate EHR system.
- Proven competency with MS Office applications.
- Age-specific care criteria applicable to the age of the patients served.
- Understands principles of growth and development over the life span.
