Seed Coordinator

Role Overview: Supervises seed operations, including seed sales, plant performance, delivery schedules, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsible for overseeing treatment plants, delivery trucks, and seed work orders, as well as training staff and maintaining product quality. Key Responsibilities Manage seed department operations and improve seed sales within assigned territory.Oversee seed inventory, sales, and compliance with government regulations.Coordinate with field marketers and assist walk-in customers, including grain handling and pricing.Resolve customer complaints promptly and handle special projects as assigned.Make agronomic recommendations based on best practices for growers.Prepare budgets and operate within financial parameters. Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers.Strong planning, coordination, communication, supervisory, and training skills.Organizational and analytical abilities.Valid Commercial Driver’s License (A) with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements.Proficiency in computer use, data entry, and Point of Sale software.Ability to work independently, handle change, and resolve complaints.Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally. Work Environment: Combines indoor office work with outdoor activities in varying weather conditions. Adheres to safety protocols, including PPE requirements when handling crop protection products. Flexibility to perform other duties as needed.
