We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support Navy aviation laboratory environments and equipment. This position requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD. A SECRET clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain configuration management laboratory assets
• Affirm lab security requirements
• Perform lab system maintenance

Requirements

• At least five years’ experience supporting naval platform integration laboratory environments
• Experience using electronic test instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Significant experience performing troubleshooting, replacement, and repair of electronic components
• Experience performing Test and Evaluation (T&E) of military systems or equipment
• Familiarity with Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) manuals
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment with or without assistance (50+ lbs.)

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Completion of Navy A/B/C schools or IPC certification

Pay

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $79,000.00 - $107,000.00 (USD).

Schedule

This position requires full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD. Travel 10%.
