Security Unarmed Patrol Officer

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Quincy, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols and engagement with visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed
• Prepare clear, timely reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred

Pay

$21.10 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. Day Time: Thursday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
