Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and problem-solving, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, yard, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verify authorized access as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.63 per hour.
