Security Officer Unarmed Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical processing location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, roadways, parking areas, gates, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions or hazards according to site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization, maintain required logs, and direct personnel and vehicles in accordance with established site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by post orders.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, helping to deter unauthorized access and support a professional site environment.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
