Security Systems Associate Technician
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Associate Technician 2 to join our team. As a troubleshooter and service expert, you will alleviate customer concerns regarding security systems and perform repairs or replacements as needed. You will also coordinate inspections and installations with relevant agencies.
Responsibilities
- Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring
- Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment, and test for operation
- Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs
- Cook up inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies
- Service Commercial security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems
- Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency
- Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line
- Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras
- HIRSCH Certificate
- Excellent communication skills
- Electrical/Electronic background
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications

Pay
Hiring hourly range: $20.10 - $27.60 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
