Preventative Maintenance Technician - Commercial Security Systems

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial security systems to ensure optimal functionality and prevent system failures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with security systems including alarms, cameras, access control, and other related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep systems running efficiently.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions to system malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all work activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar field, preferably in commercial security systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and stand for extended periods.
