Preventative Maintenance Technician - Commercial Security Systems

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial security systems to ensure optimal functionality and prevent system failures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with security systems including alarms, cameras, access control, and other related equipment.
• Install new security systems as needed based on client requests and system upgrades.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for security systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial security systems, including alarm systems, access control, and surveillance cameras.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
