Security Systems Application Specialist

Responsibilities

• Build and implement security systems applications
• Support programming, commissioning, and drive new build projects to Security Go Live (SGL) and First Day of Business (FDOB)
• Cook up with other teams to obtain network and Archibus information
• Provide system support to Integrators in the field of Security technologies such as Access Control, Video Management systems, Intercoms, and key management
• Manage Integrator resources in the field, coordinating testing and commissioning of projects
• Enforce and follow documented installation standards and New Builds processes

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience within Security Systems and Technology
• Proficiency with Software House/CCure supported hardware (iStar panels, REX, card readers, locks, door contacts)
• Comprehensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as most security applications are Windows-dependent
• Strong troubleshooting skills to work through complex problems using a process of elimination
• Understanding of basic security standards and practices in security design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook client and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience assisting users with advanced functionality
