Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Up to $26.50 per hour
Schedule: Variable event-based schedule
- Evening shifts
- Weekend assignments
- Holiday events
- Special event coverage based on operational needs
Primary Duties
- Event Operations Leadership
- Oversee security personnel during assigned events and venue operations
- Coverage of officer assignments and post coverage throughout each event
- Conduct pre-shift briefings covering responsibilities, venue procedures, and emergency protocols
- Maintain staffing levels and make deployment adjustments when operational needs change
- Provide leadership, direction, and real-time support to field personnel
- Venue & Client Relations
- Act as a liaison between event management, venue representatives, and security staff
- Maintain professional communication regarding operational updates and event concerns
- Aid in resolving guest-related issues while supporting venue policies
- Promote a positive experience for attendees, vendors, performers, and staff
- Support client expectations through consistent service delivery and professionalism
- Safety & Incident Management
- Monitor crowd activity and venue conditions throughout assigned areas
- Identify potential security concerns and take appropriate corrective action
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, or emergencies according to established procedures
- Coordinate with event organizers, emergency responders, and other support personnel when necessary
- Ensure incidents are properly documented and communicated to management
- Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
- Complete detailed incident reports and supervisor activity logs
- Verify compliance with company policies, post instructions, and venue requirements
- Maintain accurate staffing records and operational documentation
- Aid in post-event reviews and operational feedback when requested
- Support ongoing quality assurance efforts for event operations
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Previous leadership, supervisory, team lead, or coordination experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising personnel in event, entertainment, or security environments
- Familiarity with crowd management and large public gatherings
- Experience interacting with venue management, vendors, and event organizers
- Knowledge of scheduling systems, reporting platforms, or workforce management tools
- Background in customer service-focused leadership roles
