Job Skills / Requirements

• SCOPE OF WORK: Supervise and lead approximately 5-6 officers at a site requiring 24/7/365 security services.
• Supervise and manage subordinates, schedule, meet client needs, and handle other duties as needed.
• Contribute to the overall goals and direction of both clients and the company.
• Work Monday-Friday 0700-1500 (Full-Time), with 24/7 availability for site emergencies/call-offs.
• Rate of Pay: $23.46 per hour (locked-in with current contract).

• Location: Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities

• Billable: 30-40 hours per week in a billable, uniform supervisor capacity.
• Maintain a personal presence throughout the facility and be approachable to staff and patrons.
• Oversee the training of all assigned officers and ensure they carry out duties outlined in post guidelines.
• Ensure the appearance and grooming of all uniform security employees and event staff are impeccable.
• Maintain updated post guidelines and meet with client and operations manager annually to review and update guidelines.
• Maintain regular communication with the designated client contact and keep operations manager updated on client communication.
• Approve time sheets and ensure they are submitted weekly within company deadlines.
• Aid management in implementing progressive disciplinary actions for violations of Company or Client Policy.
• Review and approve all written incident reports generated by assigned personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No felony convictions.
• No misdemeanor convictions related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances, or two or more alcohol-related offenses.
• Pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana).
• Adhere to company’s Uniform and Appearance policy.
• Willing to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
• Physically and mentally fit to remain alert while on duty.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds (70 lbs. if working as an armed security officer).

• All positions require a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
