The Security Supervisor will supervise, organize, and evaluate the work of the security staff. The Supervisor will lead the day-to-day activities of their assigned shift and ensure productivity in alignment with policy and procedure.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand the risks Tesla's faces and build effective programs to mitigate these risks
- Provide ongoing security recommendations during design, construction, and any type of site refresh
- Drive digital business transformation by identifying and supporting adoption of new technologies and tools
- Establish projections for and reconcile security spends, minimizing variance between projected and actual spend, driving efficiencies to create a financially sustainable security practice
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regional first responders; Support and manage vendor relationships including key performance tracking, accountability, and cost effectiveness
- Proactively identify, develop, and implement additional security strategies to meet the unique needs of the Tesla business. Support the design and implement security mitigations, which are cost-effective and meet the needs of our business partners
- Create and implement policies and procedures to support the local and global security program; Deliver security training and awareness programs to employees
Requirements
- 3+ years of security experience with at least two years as a People Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice preferred, or equivalent experience
- Up to date security certifications and/or licensing for the US state the position is based in; CPP, PSP or equivalent certifications are a plus
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Experience with access control, surveillance, and other security systems

Expected Compensation $76,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
