Security Supervisor

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Staffing
• Aiding in payroll completion
• Scheduling
• Enforcing Renewal, Inc.'s policies and procedures

Additional Responsibilities

• Supervising the movement of reentrants
• Ensuring reentrant accountability through consistent enforcement of rules and regulations
• Cooking large scale and daily searches
• Providing a safe environment for staff, reentrants, and visitors

Individual Priorities

• Prioritizing emergency and non-emergency issues
• Using discretion in various situations
• Acting as the point person in the Security department during extraordinary occurrences

Eligibility Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalency and two years related experience required
• One year of supervisory experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related field preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license, Act 33/34, and a high degree of ethics required
• Ability to function in a team setting
• Multiple task management capability
• People interaction skills and assertiveness in crisis situations
• Computer literacy required
