Security Supervisor

Duties/Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the security team, ensuring adherence to company protocols and Arizona security regulations.
• Evaluate team performance and organize ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Aid in developing and updating security protocols and responding to emergency situations.
• Manage shift scheduling to ensure continuous security coverage across all shifts.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead security teams and manage day-to-day security operations.
• Familiarity with Arizona security regulations and compliance requirements for unarmed security personnel.
• Skilled in the use of modern security technology, including surveillance and access systems.
• Strong crisis management, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
• Professional demeanor, capable of managing high-pressure situations with composure.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of standing or walking for long durations.
• Must be able to handle up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and be on call for emergencies as needed.

Work Schedule (Exempt)

This is a full-time, exempt position. The role requires the flexibility to work on the hours necessary to meet business needs, which may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Work schedules and expectations may be adjusted based on operational priorities and organizational demands.

Education And Experience

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3+ years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in managing security in sensitive environments, such as cannabis, retail, or similar industries.

Required Certifications

• Valid Arizona Guard Card or Unarmed Security Guard License.
• Valid taser certification and baton certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous but not required.
