Security Supervisor

About the role

Under the direction of the Shift Manager, the incumbent supervises assigned work areas and security officers providing exceptional customer service, professionally and courteously providing information and direction to guests and employees, always promoting a positive public image.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One (1) to two (2) years of casino/hotel security experience
• Frequent standing and walking
• Ability to handle large numbers of guests and remain calm and professional under stressful situations
• Able to complete complex reports requiring investigation and/or follow-up
• Able to understand complex written and spoken instructions in English
• Able to write simple correspondence and detailed incident reports clearly in English
• Able to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Qualifications

• Completion of company provided training programs: 40 hour Basic Security Training, Alcohol Awareness Training, Non-violent Crisis Intervention and CPR Certification
• Certification in all departmental Standards and Procedures for their current position
