Responsible Activities
- Maintain shift assignments, conduct investigations, prepare reports.
- Manage employee files, conduct PAR, coaching, and recognition.
- Provide service to guests, maintain safety, enforce rules, protect assets, investigate disturbances.
- Ensure public order, handle customer complaints, provide prompt and welcoming service.
- Monitor Valet area for cleanliness, signage, and audio/visual components.
- Train and supervise Valet and Security team members.
- Report safety concerns and ensure compliance with departmental and company policies.
- Work as a team member, offer assistance, participate in Buzz sessions, and work overtime.
- Act as a leader, establish credibility, foster teamwork, motivate, and communicate effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operations.
- Recommend and implement changes to improve team member and guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Ensure safety and well-being of guests and team members.
- Investigate incidents concerning the welfare of the Racino and surrounding facilities.
- Review and approve necessary documents.
- Create and manage team member schedules and paperwork.
- Deal with all departments as required.
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to achieve satisfaction.
- Act as a dynamic and energetic leader, fostering teamwork and open communication.
- Establish credibility, act in the best interests of the property and company, and develop team members.
- Provide appropriate recognition and rewards for superior performance.
- Work as a change agent, challenge departmental processes, and improve operations.
- Partners with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations.
- Implement changes to improve team member and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Skills in investigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer and employee relations skills.
- Able to work together as a team.
- Able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
- Able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Presentation of a well-groomed appearance.
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- 3 to 5 years as a security officer preferred.
- Able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license.
