The Security Specialist position is 100% On-Site (not Remote nor Hybrid) based in the Rocket Lab office in Long Beach, California with occasional domestic travel (
What You’ll Get To Do
- Work closely with the security department to apply your knowledge and grow your skills both technically and professionally.
- Support security infrastructure and global security operations command center operations.
- Audit corporate programs pertaining to asset protection, supply chain security, and transportation security procedures.
- Investigate sensitive allegations of fraud, waste and abuse and provide timely and accurate fact-based reporting.
- Analyze external matters such as uniform crime reporting, business reputational management and emerging threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
- Audit U.S. government and sensitive commercial programs and assist with compliance efforts.
- Attend frequent 1:1’s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.

- A High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in an audit, analyst, or similar role.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- A valid driver’s license.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have
- Work experience in the military, space/aerospace, or defense industry.
- A U.S. government TS/SCI eligible.
