About the role

The Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site, acting as a liaison between site supervisors, Account Managers, Field Operations Managers, and professional security officers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
  • Enforce contract standards and Allied Universal’s policies as outlined in handbooks and executive memos.
  • Administer site safety programs, including outlining site-specific hazards for security officers and vehicle/driving safety as appropriate to corporate procedures.
  • Handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (e.g., Scheduling Activity, Training Detail) requiring interpretation and action for effective business management.
  • Participate in unemployment hearings as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 2+ years of security experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience (for driving positions).
  • Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months).
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public professionally.
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
  • Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders, and work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.

Pre-employment conditions

  • Successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
  • May be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Pay

USD $25.00 per hour.
