About the Role
Allied Universal Services is seeking an experienced Armed Security Site Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers, overseeing site staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
Responsibilities
- Supervise site staff and ensure effective service delivery.
- Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers.
- Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff within approved empowerment range.
- Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
- Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce and interpret reports (e.g., Scheduling Activity, Training Detail).
- Communicate staffing needs to the Operation Manager, including requisitioning, identifying, and interviewing quality candidates.
- Ensure officers receive appropriate training and professional development, including performance management (coaching, counseling, evaluations, recognition).
- Address employee grievances with support from branch or regional HR.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective written and oral communication skills for interacting with personnel and the public.
- Must meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client sites.
- Ability to work in various environments (e.g., cold weather, rain/snow, heat).
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
