Job Description
Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security Site Supervisor. The Armed Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer, act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers, and supervise site staff while providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer.
- Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers.
- Supervise site staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
- Communicate staffing needs to the Operation Manager, including using the requisition process and assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates.
- Ensure officers receive appropriate training and develop technical and professional skills, including performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition).
- Address employee grievances with support from branch or regional HR.
- Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce and interpret reports (e.g., Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports) for effective business management.
- Handle crisis situations at client sites calmly and efficiently.
- Operate intermediate computer systems and innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public.
- Licensing requirements as required by state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client sites.
- Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
- Capability to use scheduling and billing software to produce and interpret reports for business management.
- Ability to work in various environments (cold weather, rain/snow, heat) and occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally, and stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
