Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, storefront perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor for unauthorized activity, property concerns, and/or suspicious behavior, helping to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and timely reporting.
• Assist with access control, directional assistance, and general support at the location while following Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
