About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location in Aurora, CO, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and tenants, communicate professionally, and report observations using available technology. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking facilities, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and support orderly movement of visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.75 / Hour

• Thursday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
