Security Guard - Shopping Center

About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a positive environment while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior spaces, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $24.31 / Hour

Schedule: Day Time - Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
