Security Shift Supervisor - Armed

About the role

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site in Mauldin, SC. This role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. You will supervise staff on your assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Responsibilities

• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills
• Address employee grievances with help from appropriate district or region HR support employees and Account or Operations Manager
• Administer Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for professional security officers on assigned shift, including vehicle/driving safety as appropriate to Corporate procedures
• Assist Account or Operations Manager in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
• Handle crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public professionally
• Meet licensing requirements as subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment)
• Possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), and meet minimum insurance requirements as per Company policy
• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
• Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security experience
• Military experience preferred
• Great customer service skills
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Resume preferred

Pay

Starting base pay: $23.12 per hour

Schedule

• Workdays Available: Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Shifts Available: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Full-time position
