About the role
The Armed Security Shift Supervisor (Secret Clearance Site) will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. Acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers, this role involves supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff on assigned shift, ensuring professional and effective service delivery.
- Communicate staffing needs to the Account Manager or Operations Manager.
- Assure officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills.
- Address employee grievances with support from district or region HR and Account or Operations Manager.
- Administer Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards, including vehicle/driving safety as per Corporate procedures.
- Assist Account or Operations Manager in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles, maintaining inventories and maintenance checklists.
- Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with personnel and the public.
- Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
Pay
$31.31 per hour.
Schedule
Part Time - Day Shift
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM / Saturday
