About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security/Safety professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a secure and safe environment for our staff, customers, and assets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Write detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur.
• Provide assistance to customers and employees as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid security license or certification (as required by local regulations).
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Experience with report writing and incident documentation.

Skills

• Proficiency with security systems and CCTV monitoring.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy for logging activities.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available; shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
