Job Summary

US Concerts is seeking a Security Officer to guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. The role involves conducting patrols, responding to security and safety calls, and interacting with patrons, vendors, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor venue premises to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to security and safety-related calls in a timely manner.
• Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty.
• Comply with and adhere to all department’s performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without losing efficiency or composure.
• Adhere to the Security department’s policies and procedures.
• Investigate and compile accurate incident reports.
• Complete assigned tasks within guidelines and deadlines set by supervisors.
• Interact with patrons, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid CA Guard card or PPSO required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes.
• Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Ability to effectively perform in crises and work under pressure without losing composure.
• Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during intensely aggravated circumstances.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp and drag.

Qualifications

Pay

The expected compensation for this position is $16.90 USD - $20.75 USD per hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
