Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the facility grounds and buildings to prevent and detect unauthorized entry or activity
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security breaches
- Conduct regular checks on secure areas, including locked doors, storage rooms, and sensitive equipment
- Ensure that all security protocols and procedures are followed correctly and consistently
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and responses
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our facility's layout, including areas of high security concern
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum 0 years of experience in a security or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require walking, standing, or climbing
