Security Professional - Hospital Site - Part Time

About the Role
The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with onsite personnel and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff movement to help to deter disruptions, support site rules, and document security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 2 years of healthcare/medical field experience.
- Hospital vaccinations are required.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law.
Skills
- Ability to work in a healthcare facility environment.
- Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Pay
Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour
Schedule
This is a part time position, which includes weekends. Must be available to work all shifts (Day, Afternoon, Overnight). Mainly hiring for the night shift. As needed officers for every shift - Part Time to cover vacations and calls offs. Cannot guarantee the hours per week.
