About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with local authorities and/or site contacts when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor entry points, public areas, and restricted locations to help support orderly operations and document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports.
- Assist with emergency response activities, directions, and crowd management during service disruptions, special events, and/or unexpected situations.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
