Security Officer - Downtown Location

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a professional property location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring team culture built on reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 years old for armed roles.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment.
