Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site procedures.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
